Meet Will, a seasoned photographer with expertise in capturing stunning landscapes and gardens. He has been shooting black and white and color film in 35mm and 120 formats for over 30 years and has adapted well to the digital era. Will has been photographing Colorado, Michigan and the Western regions for over 30 years, with a keen eye for capturing unique, often overlooked moments, whether it's the breathtaking landscapes of The Great Sand Dunes National Park or the intricate details of flowers up close. Headquartered in Green Cove Springs, FL: Shot2Amaze is a multi-faceted fine art, horticulture and stock photography adventure. The 2 in Shot2Amaze is my wife Kathy and me joining creative talents to provide images from around the world. We are stronger together and are never without a camera or iPhone wherever we venture.

 

During a 7-week road trip from Chicago to several Western National Parks in early 1970, I used a camera for the first time. My grandmother's Kodak 35mm rangefinder, equipped with numerous dials, was my tool of choice. After a brief tutorial on how to use it, and with the film provided by her, I snapped countless photos during the trip. Although most of them were forgettable, the experience was valuable for learning.

A few years later I purchased my first camera with the prize money from the Kerker Quinn Creative Writing Award for Poetry from the University of Illinois. I have never stopped photographing and learning about photography. Now my journey takes me into the digital world and the iPhone 14 Pro I love so much.
